3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Disamsam! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Disamsam tries to clinch up but Skjeggestad circles away and keeps his distance. Skjeggestad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Disamsam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Disamsam tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Skjeggestad paws at him with a jab and circles away. Disamsam tries to clinch up and Skjeggestad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Skjeggestad is pushing down on Disamsam's leg trying to pass to half guard. Disamsam is fighting to maintain full guard but Skjeggestad has managed to sneak the leg through. Skjeggestad is looking for a kimura here.

Skjeggestad postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Disamsam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Skjeggestad, into his guard.

Disamsam rolls with it to try and escape but Skjeggestad cranks on the arm and Disamsam is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
