Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between William Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Choke - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Faber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fairtex won't be happy with that.
Fairtex wants to get back to his feet but Faber drags him back down.

Faber closes the distance and clinches up with Fairtex, looking for a takedown. Faber pushes Fairtex against the cage but Fairtex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fairtex throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Faber.
Fairtex scores with a jab. Faber acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Fairtex does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

William Fairtex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice straight punches there by Fairtex. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fairtex.

Some bone on bone action there as Faber checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
