Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Keller.

Keller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Keller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones being controlled here momentarily.

Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Keller circles away from the clinch attempt
and Keller counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jones thinking.

Keller swinging wildly here.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Keller sprawls well. Keller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Keller but Keller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sam Keller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
The fight stays on the outside here - Keller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Keller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Keller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Keller swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jones shoots in and drives through. Keller sprawls well.
Donk. Keller catches Jones right on the button with a cross.

Jones is pressed up against the cage. Keller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Keller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Keller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Keller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Jones looks winded!
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Keller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Keller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Keller persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Keller closes the distance and clinches.

Keller has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Keller dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Jones trying to hold on to Keller's head to control him but Keller postures up.
Keller thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Jones tries to kick Keller off in order to stand up. Keller Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The strikes coming from Keller are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Keller staying calm.
An elbow from Keller crashes against the mat.

The referee asks Keller politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Keller prefers to stall for the moment though.

Keller goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Keller but great work by Jones.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Who's going to make the next move?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Keller is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Keller tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jones throws a combination that misses
and Keller counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Keller to acknowledge the strikes.
Keller wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Keller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Keller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Keller drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jones working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Keller has passed into half guard!
Jones is looking to get back to full guard here but Keller has managed to pass to side control instead.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard.

Jones tries to escape but Keller is in control.
Keller happy to just control the position for now.
Keller misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Jones seems a little lost for a moment, as Keller dominates the positioning.
Keller seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with.
Keller gets to mount! Jones was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Jones holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Keller tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Jones feints and as Keller raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jones wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving.

Jon Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Keller fails to land the takedown.
Keller swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Keller did well to prevent Jones getting side control.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Keller uses from the top position.

Keller throws an elbow but Jones slips to the side and avoids it well.
A lull in the action here as Keller stalls from top position.
Jones tries to bench press Keller off him but Keller keeps the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam Keller.
Well Keller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
