The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ahokas counters with a nice body shot.
Ahokas ducks under a wild hook from Abbot.
Ahokas misses with an uppercut. Abbot saw that one coming.
Ahokas slips a jab and a cross from Abbot.
Ahokas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abbot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Abbot. Ahokas does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ahokas tries to clinch but Abbot is having none of it.

Abbot swings for the body but Ahokas moves out of range.

Tank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ahokas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Abbot to the ground. Ahokas is now in Abbot's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Abbot lands a left and a right that send Ahokas crashing to the mat, dazed. Abbot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Abbot connects with a nice cross there... Ahokas is looking wobbly and Abbot recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ahokas to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Abbot jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
