Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Advice Mallard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyperbole Sucks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Advice Mallard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hyperbole Sucks's chin.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sucks is fending him off so far but Mallard persists. Nope, Sucks circles away and we're back to standing.
Sucks throws a front kick that sends Mallard stumbling back into the cage.
Mallard loads up on a big right hand but Sucks slips the punch.
Jab, jab by Sucks - just one landing.
Mallard gets tackled into the cage by Sucks. Sucks maintains the clinch.
Sucks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sucks lands with a thumping leg kick.
That kick from Sucks tenderised Mallard's leg. Mallard is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mallard fails to land the takedown.
Mallard looks for the body kick but Sucks saw that one coming.
Sucks digs a good body shot into Mallard's ribs.

Mallard shoots in and drives through. Sucks sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Advice Mallard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mallard dives in and grabs Sucks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sucks pushes down on Mallard's head and hops out.
Mallard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sucks was well out of range. Poor timing from Mallard.

Sucks throws a sloppy head kick and Mallard moves out of range easily.
Sucks lands with a kick to the temple. Mallard shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sucks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mallard.
Mallard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Good leg kick by Sucks there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mallard shoots in for a takedown but Sucks shows good takedown defense.
Sucks closes the distance and pushes Mallard back into the cage.

Sucks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mallard backwards.

It looks like Advice Mallard has been cut.
Mallard jumps guard but Sucks stands there with Mallard around his waist. Mallard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mallard will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sucks gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mallard to score an easy takedown into full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sucks pulls Mallard in to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sucks is trying to keep Mallard in close.
Mallard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mallard has gone for a leg lock! Sucks slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mallard's guard.

Mallard drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sucks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sucks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sucks!

Sucks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Mallard is looking to regain half guard here but Sucks keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Mallard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mallard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sucks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mallard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mallard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sucks pulls his head out easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mallard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sucks defends it easily.
Sucks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mallard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sucks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mallard drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sucks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mallard has Sucks in his guard.

Sucks trying to control the position from guard on top but Mallard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mallard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sucks's guard.
Sucks wants to stand and escape but Mallard is having none of it.
Mallard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sucks dives on top into guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mallard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sucks stuns Mallard with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Sucks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mallard eats them both and turns towards Sucks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Mallard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Hyperbole Sucks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
