Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnnie Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico comes into the arena with Stricken by Disturbed blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rico is looking to break free of the clinch but Wilson has double underhooks.
Wilson pulls guard successfully.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wilson is trying to control the position but Rico postures up.
Rico postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Wilson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wilson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rico!
Wilson lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Johnnie Rico has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnnie Rico's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Slade Wilson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
