Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jo El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El comes to the cage accompanied by Spazz by Teege X Nowly. Petkovic has chosen BvC Crew - KOSOVO as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jo El! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Petkovic! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petkovic shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Petkovic is pressing down on El's thigh, looking to free his foot. El is holding on for now. El is trying to maintain the position but Petkovic is very close to passing his half guard. Petkovic is keen to just control but El is a slippery customer. Petkovic wants to pass the guard but El is defending well. Petkovic missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Petkovic trying to mount his opponent but El defends it. El is staying active underneath Petkovic, who seems content to just control the action from this position. El has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Petkovic is working away from the top position though. Petkovic is looking for a kimura but El is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petkovic to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. El regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Petkovic. El is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. El looking to sweep here. No luck so far. El looking to control.
Petkovic is fighting to break El's control of his arms but El is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. El trying to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jo El. Some bone on bone action there as Petkovic checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. El throws a chopping leg kick but Petkovic manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A nice inside leg kick there by Petkovic. That's going to slow El down. El misses with a straight left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petkovic cracks El with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Petkovic cracks El with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Jo El has been cut. Petkovic cracks El on the jaw with a powerful right hand and El falls backwards against the cage. Petkovic follows up with more strikes that drop El to his knees. Petkovic keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save El! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Petkovic! Roman Petkovic decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
