Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrell comes into the arena with Now You've Got Something to Die For blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Noah Burn enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Burn swivels and escapes.
Nice sprawl there from Burn as Terrell shoots in.
Left hook, right uppercut from Terrell.
Terrell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Terrell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burn tries to avoid it but Terrell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burn to the ground. Burn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Burn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Terrell's waist but Terrell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burn off to one side.

Terrell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Burn.
Burn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Terrell prevents it.
Burn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Terrell pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Burn counters with a takedown into side control.
Burn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Burn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terrell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Terrell parries the strikes from Burn easily there. Burn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Terrell to escape.
Burn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Burn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Terrell has escaped the position, nice work there.
Burn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Terrell gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Burn has hold of Terrell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Terrell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
