The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams tries for a takedown but Mann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jab from Mann.
Adams is looking to clinch.
Adams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mann does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mann sizes up Adams with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Adams moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mann misses with a knee strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Adams just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mann's brow.
Adams tries a knee to the head but Mann blocks it.
Mann wants to break the clinch but can't.
Adams gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Adams with the ground and pound but Mann uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Adams postures up in Mann's guard and throws a big left but Mann blocks it.

Adams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Mann has wrist control.
Mann is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Adams knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Adams misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Adams pushes Mann off looking to stand but Mann dives back in and keeps control.

Mann looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mann looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mann lands with a punch from half guard.
Adams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mann on the ground.
Mann is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Adams sees it coming and defends easily.

Mann blocks the strikes from Adams.
Adams tries to roll over but Mann keeps him under control.
Adams is looking to get back to full guard here but Mann has managed to pass to side control instead.
Adams is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Mann is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adams has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mann is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Adams is trying to escape and Mann transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Adams is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mann! Very nice indeed!
