Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between B.B. Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). B. Bundy and Mr Phil Davis. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davis.

and Bundy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis wants to control but Bundy is having none of it.
Bundy lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Davis hang on?

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bundy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bundy moves away.
Bundy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bundy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bundy distracts Davis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bundy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis pulls Bundy in close to prevent any damage.

Davis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bundy controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself.
Bundy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davis controls the pace.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Davis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bundy to the ground. Davis is now in Bundy's guard.

Davis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bundy manages to get himself to full guard.
Davis is in close to Bundy's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Bundy wants to get up but he can't break Davis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
