The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRiot defending well as Mead loads up on a big left hand.
McRiot misses with the body kick
and Mead counters with a left to the body.
McRiot moves out of range of the body kick from Mead.
McRiot goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mead takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
McRiot cracks Mead with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Trevor Mead has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mead takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Mead is breathing heavily.
McRiot scores with a kick to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - McRiot finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Whack! McRiot lands a heavy head kick that drops Mead. The ref tackles McRiot to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mead was done.
