The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ormlyr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hitokiri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A bone on bone clash there as Hitokiri blocks the leg kick.

Hitokiri tries a body shot but Ormlyr blocks it.
Hitokiri really is a fat lump.
Ormlyr lands with a short shot to the head.
Ormlyr has a couple of punches blocked by Hitokiri.
Still in the clinch, Ormlyr scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hitokiri wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ormlyr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ormlyr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hitokiris head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hitokiri is rocked!

Shishio Hitokiri's cut is getting worse.
Ormlyr misses with the head strike.
Oh Hitokiri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ormlyr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hitokiri seems to have got his legs back now.

The crowd are getting on Ormlyr's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Ormlyr swings wildly with an uppercut but Hitokiri uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ormlyr has a couple of punches blocked by Hitokiri.
A short body shot lands from Ormlyr as the two fighters clinch.
Ormlyr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ormlyr lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hitokiri backwards.

Shishio Hitokiri's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Hitokiri blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ormlyr lands a shoulder strike.
Ormlyr misses with a punch on the inside.

Ormlyr creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Hitokiri with a big uppercut! Hitokiri tries to clinch up but Ormlyr pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Hitokiri to the mat! Hitokiri covers up and Ormlyr unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
