Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Balboa Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Balboa Dan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Trout! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Trout looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Dan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trout pinned against the cage. Trout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dan wants to land a leg kick but Trout is out of range. Dan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balboa Dan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trout circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dan misses with a two punch combination.
Trout closes the distance and clinches up with Dan, looking for a takedown. Trout pushes Dan against the cage but Dan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dan drives through with a takedown into guard. Dan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Trout is proving hard to escape from. Trout working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dan. Dan wants to control from the top but Trout keeps moving. Trout is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dan is aware though and is defending well. Dan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trout on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Trout controlling the position. Dan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dan tries to clinch but Trout is having none of it. Trout tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trout somewhat. Dan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Dan throws a half hearted mid kick. Dan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Trout closes the distance and clinches up with Dan, looking for a takedown. Trout pushes Dan against the cage but Dan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dan tries a head kick but it misses.
Dan shoots in and gets a takedown into Trout's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Trout is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dan defends well. Dan pushes down on Trout's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trout tries to get to full guard but Dan has control of the leg. Dan is trying to control. Trout wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dan working Trout over with strikes. Dan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Trout's head. Trout slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Dan landing some decent shots from guard. Dan is in close to Trout's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Trout has a closed guard, preventing Dan from standing up. Dan pushing down on Trout's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dan is looking to take a break and control but Trout is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Balboa Dan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trout looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Trout pushes Dan up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Dan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dan is trying to pull guard but Trout turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Trout is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Trout to the mat. Trout regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dan throws a big right hand that misses. Dan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Trout's guard. Dan cracks Trout with a solid left hand. Trout keeping full guard, as Dan tries to pass. Dan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dan throws a big elbow that misses. Trout is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trout has a closed guard, preventing Dan from standing up. Trout controls Dan momentarily but Dan frees himself. Dan is looking to advance position but Trout has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Dan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dan can't escape the position.
Dan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dan tries to get out of the position. Dan is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dan is trying desperately to improve position. Dan tries to lock up and control but Trout gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Trout looking for a guillotine from mount but Dan is having none of it. Dan wants to control but Trout is having none of it. Dan is desperately trying to improve his position but Trout has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trout punishing his opponent with strikes. Dan can't escape the position.
Dan is just holding on here. Trout manages to take his back.
Will Trout go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Trout is persistently looking for the submission but Dan is defending it well.
Trout gets his hands free as Dan looks to control. Trout doesn't have the hooks in and Dan manages to turn into his guard.

Dan tries to hold on but Trout pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trout in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dan is trying to escape the mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trout trying to control but he's not successful this time. Trout working for a submission but Dan is keeping him at bay. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kevin Trout will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Dan fails to land the takedown. Dan misses with a few strikes there.
Trout walks into a left hand. Dan throws a leg kick but Trout checks it. Dan shoots in for a double leg but Trout sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dan misses with a low kick as Trout jumps back. Trout misses with a takedown attempt - Dan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Trout on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Trout takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dan throws a leg kick that misses. Dan is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trout as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balboa Dan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trout has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dan sizes up Trout with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Dan throws a body punch but Trout moves out of range. Trout takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The fight stays on the outside here - Dan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Trout fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dan moves into range and clinches up with Trout. Dan has had enough of the clinch but Trout keeps him there for the moment. Dan has Trout pressed against the cage, preventing Trout from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trout tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dan just stands there and leans against the cage. Dan breaks the clinch.
Dan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Balboa Dan is winning the standup battle so far. Dan throws a head kick but Trout moves out of range.
Dan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nice takedown defense from Dan. No joy for Trout on that attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dan is defended easily by Trout. Dan fails with a takedown attempt. Dan tries for a takedown but Trout circles away easily and Trout counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dan won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trout taking a breather here. Dan is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Trout stands up and we're back to a striking position. Trout changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dan tries to avoid it but Trout manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dan to the ground. Dan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dan throws a head kick but Trout moves out of range.

Dan shoots in looking for a takedown but Trout manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Trout closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dan is looking to escape. Dan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trout trying to pass the guard but Dan defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dan wants to improve his position but Trout is controlling well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Balboa Dan. Well Dan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
