Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Oro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Imperial XinZhao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Oro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Imperial XinZhao! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! XinZhao lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. XinZhao displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oro. Imperial XinZhao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. XinZhao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. XinZhao paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. XinZhao is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. XinZhao misses with a two punch combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oro is defended easily by XinZhao. Oro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but XinZhao avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Oro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oro shoots in for a takedown but XinZhao shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. XinZhao digs a good hook to Oro's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from XinZhao.
XinZhao throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Oro blocks a head kick by XinZhao.
The fight moves into the clinch position. XinZhao is fighting off a takedown attempt but Oro is just too persistent for him and manages to trip XinZhao to the mat. XinZhao regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Oro wanted to stand there but XinZhao had control of the position. Oro trying to control the position from guard on top but XinZhao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oro is looking to work some ground and pound but XinZhao has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oro trying to control but XinZhao is working from the bottom. Oro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Oro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Oro tries to free his leg and advance position but XinZhao is retaining full guard. Oro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as XinZhao works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! XinZhao keeping moving, preventing Oro from controlling successfully. XinZhao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Oro postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if XinZhao can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. XinZhao looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oro is one step ahead there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Oro throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. XinZhao controls Oro momentarily but Oro frees himself. Oro looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. XinZhao wants to stand and escape but Oro is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. XinZhao working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Oro. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Oro trying to control the position from guard on top but XinZhao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oro drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Oro as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! XinZhao screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Oro! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Vladimir Oro! Our winner, Vladimir Oro, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
