Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keoni Kain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Red Headed Step Child!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain misses with a shot to the body
and Step Child connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Step Child moves out of range of the leg kick from Kain.
A big right from Kain misses.
Step Child avoids the head kick by Kain.

Kain clinches up against the ropes.
Kain misses with the head strike.
Kain blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Kain breaks from the clinch.
Kain misses with an attempted mid kick.
Step Child takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Kain forces Step Child back against the ropes and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kain throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Step Child cracks Kain with a nice body shot.
Step Child letting Kain take a breather here.
Kain tries to work over Step Child's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Step Child goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kain slows down the pace here.
Kain struggles to land a body shot inside as Step Child controls his hands.
Kain misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Step Child.
Kain taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Step Child goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Kain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Step Child throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kain fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kain throws a right and a left that both miss.
Step Child has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kain.

Kain moves into the clinch.
Kain with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kain is looking to control Step Child's arms but Step Child gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kain has his back to the ropes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Step Child tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Keoni Kain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Step Child lands a nice hook to Kain's body. Kain takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Step Child just misses with a punch to the body.
Step Child moves forwards but Kain connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kain takes one to the chin there.
Kain tries a head kick but it misses.
Kain scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Kain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kain fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Step Child blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kain swings wildly with an uppercut but Step Child uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Step Child's elbow.
Step Child lands an uppercut.
Kain content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Kain throws an elbow that misses.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Kain throws an elbow but misses.
Step Child misses with a hook to the ribs.
Step Child misses with a hook from the clinch.
Step Child blocks the elbow strike.
Kain throws a punch but it's blocked by Step Child.
Kain trying to stall but Step Child improves his position.
Step Child throws a punch but it's blocked by Kain.

Kain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Step Child throws a right and a left that Kain avoids nicely.
Kain tries to clinch up but Step Child circles away and keeps his distance.

Kain has Step Child up against the ropes in a clinch.
Step Child doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Step Child avoids the head kick by Kain.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kain keeps the fight on the outside.
Kain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kain scores with a nice right hand.
Kain just misses with a punch to the body.
Step Child uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kain.
Step Child scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kain doesn't seem bothered though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kain darts in and clinches Step Child up against the ropes.
Step Child fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kain doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kain stalling in the clinch but Step Child improves position.
Kain dodges an elbow strike from Step Child.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A bit of stalling here from Kain.
Kain misses with a body punch.
Kain working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Kain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keoni Kain dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Step Child looks for the body kick but Kain saw that one coming.
Kain throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kain thumps Step Child with a low kick.
Kain tries to clinch up but Step Child circles away and keeps his distance.
Kain misses with an uppercut. Step Child saw that one coming.
Kain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kain throws a head kick that misses.
Kain tries to clinch up but Step Child circles away and keeps his distance.
Kain tries to land a body kick
and Step Child counters with a stiff right hand.
Kain dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Step Child. That did some damage!
Kain throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Step Child counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A low kick from Kain misses
letting Step Child counter with a right hand.
Step Child misses with an uppercut.
Step Child circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kain lands with a hook. Step Child tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kain has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Step Child swats away the attempt to clinch by Kain.
Kain pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Step Child has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kain finds it's way round the side to connect with Step Child's head.
Step Child throws the left hand but Kain avoids the punch easily.
Kain swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Step Child connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kain misses with a body shot.
Step Child lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Step Child's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kain under the eye.
A left lands for Step Child.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kain forces Step Child back against the ropes and clinches.
Kain tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Step Child pushes Kain back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Step Child avoids the elbow strike from Kain, against the ropes.
Kain looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Kain tries to throw a body punch but Step Child avoids it by throwing Kain back against the ropes.
Kain is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Keoni Kain has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Kain breaks the clinch.

Step Child cracks Kain with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Kain get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Kain looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!


It looks like Keoni Kain has been cut.
Red Headed Step Child seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kain tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kain throws an overhand right that lands on Step Child's shoulder, as Step Child tries to avoid the shot.
Kain needs to keep his hands up - Step Child had a free shot at his head there.


Kain is rocked!
Step Child lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Kain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Step Child closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Kain out cold! Kain corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Red Headed Step Child!
A relieved looking Red Headed Step Child thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
