The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevens pushes Kulap up against the cage in a clinch.
Kulap looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stevens is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Stevens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kulap shoots in for a takedown but Stevens shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
LJ Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stevens drops Kulap with a beautiful combination! Kulap stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stevens is looking for the KO!

It looks like Konani Kulap has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stevens connects with a right that clearly hurt Kulap. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Stevens proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Kulap collapses and taps out under the pressure!
