PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Mustajarvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phat Kock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustajarvi comes to the cage accompanied by Gangsta Rap. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kock avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mustajarvi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kock tries to close the distance and clinch but Mustajarvi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mustajarvi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mustajarvi.
Kock pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mustajarvi, pushing him back against the cage.
Kock lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Pate Mustajarvi has been cut.
Kock tries for a takedown but Mustajarvi manages to get underhooks.
Kock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mustajarvi has him pressed against the cage.
Kock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mustajarvi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kock has Mustajarvi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mustajarvi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Pate Mustajarvi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phat Kock.
Kock goes for a takedown attempt but Mustajarvi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mustajarvi throws a body kick that misses.
Mustajarvi throws and low kick but Kock moves out of range easily.
Kock moves in looking to clinch but Mustajarvi pushes him off.
Mustajarvi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kock's head backwards.
Mustajarvi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mustajarvi duly obliges.

Kock is rocked!
Kock tries to move into range but Mustajarvi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kock is still on wobbly legs! Can Mustajarvi finish him?
Mustajarvi throws a monster overhand right that drops Kock! Mustajarvi follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
