Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ihsahn Turvog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ihsahn Turvog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Diaz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turvog drives through with a takedown into guard. Diaz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Turvog wanted to stand there but Diaz had control of the position. Turvog wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turvog trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. Turvog stands up from Diaz's guard - Turvog perhaps looking for a knockout. Diaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Turvog. Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Diaz. Turvog instigates a clinch. Diaz wants to break free but Turvog has control.
Turvog looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz scores with a knee to the head.
Diaz can't break the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Diaz gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Diaz misses with a knee strike.
Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz has managed to clinch.
Turvog misses with a knee to the head. Diaz breaks from the clinch.
Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Eddie Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turvog closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard. Diaz looks gassed! Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turvog gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Turvog trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turvog is really struggling to control Diaz but he's trying to hold on to the position. Diaz is looking to sinch up a triangle. Turvog throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Diaz's body to avoid the submission. Diaz has instead reached around Turvog's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Diaz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Eddie Diaz!
