Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ishkabibble Schmukinphart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Meyers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmukinphart comes to the cage accompanied by Walk Like an Egyptian. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Meyers! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schmukinphart with a hook.
It looks like Charlie Meyers has been cut. Schmukinphart misses with a hook
and Meyers counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Schmukinphart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Meyers. Schmukinphart misses with a hook
and Meyers counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Schmukinphart! Meyers is trying to get an arm triangle but Schmukinphart is defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Meyers is working Schmukinphart over with some ground and pound from side control. Meyers connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Schmukinphart some visible discomfort.
Schmukinphart takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schmukinphart is looking to regain half guard here but Meyers keeps moving and retains side control. Meyers working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meyers is putting a hurting on Schmukinphart here, landing some big shots from side control. Meyers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Schmukinphart regains half guard, as Meyers was trying to land strikes. Meyers passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Schmukinphart! Meyers lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schmukinphart in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Meyers raining down shots from the mount!
It looks like Ishkabibble Schmukinphart has been cut. Meyers lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Meyers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Schmukinphart looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Schmukinphart that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Meyers loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Schmukinphart scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Meyers land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Meyers stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Meyers!
