Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and McGillicuddy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman comes to the cage accompanied by Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a body punch but Cartman moves out of range.
Cartman takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Cartman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.
Cartman looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Cartman.
Jones throws a leg kick but Cartman sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Cartman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jones avoids the body shot from Cartman.
Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones dips to his left and cracks Cartman with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cartman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cartman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cartman has time to react.

Jones needs to keep his hands up - Cartman had a free shot at his head there.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cartman moves away.
Cartman throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jones throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cartman.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cartman.

Cartman throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.

Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cartman.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Cartman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cartman tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Cartman tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cartman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jones walks into a stiff left hand from Cartman.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cartman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cartman manages to avoid it.
Cartman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Cartman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cartman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cartman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
Cartman thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cartman.
Jab by Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones tries to score with a low kick but Cartman moves his leg out of the way.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cartman throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Jones slips a straight right by Cartman.
Cartman throws out a leg kick but Jones moves out of range and Cartman only half commits.
McGillicuddy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cartman lands a leg kick that knocks Jones off balance momentarily.
Cartman missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Cartman.

Jones scores with a hook to the body. Cartman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Cartman dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cartman checks a leg kick nicely.
Cartman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Cartman avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jab, jab by Cartman - just one landing.
Cartman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Cartman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cartman throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Cartman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cartman is rocked!
Jones is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cartman flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cartman is out cold! Jones holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). McGillicuddy Jones!
