Marti Kornas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Money!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kornas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kornas wants it to stay on the feet.
Kornas shoots in for a takedown but Money shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Money looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kornas is fending him off so far but Money persists. Nope, Kornas circles away and we're back to standing.

Money shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kornas pinned against the cage. Kornas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Money tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Money is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kornas is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kornas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Money does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Money is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kornas is working for a kimura but Money is defending it quite comfortably.
Kornas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Money shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kornas but Kornas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kornas dives in and grabs Money's left leg, looking for a takedown. Money pushes down on Kornas's head and hops out.
Kornas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Money sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kornas somewhat.

Kornas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Money was covering up waiting for the punch and Kornas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kornas throws an elbow that misses. Money uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kornas's guard. Nice move by Money!

Kornas has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Money off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Money tries to clinch up but Kornas circles away and keeps his distance.
Money shoots in looking for a takedown but Kornas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Money's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Kornas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Money's guard now.
Money is breathing heavily.

Kornas controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kornas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
