Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Falaris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falaris's entrance music is Single Ladies - Brazilian Version. A fine choice. Kimmo has chosen Roni Size-Bite The Bullet as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Falaris uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kimmo.

The fighters circling - Kimmo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kimmo lands a head kick that stumbles Falaris and the fighters go to the mat.


It looks like Marcus Falaris has been cut.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Falaris manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kimmo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Falaris lands a head kick. Kimmo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kimmo throws a head kick but Falaris moves out of range.

Kimmo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Kimmo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Falaris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Falaris.

Michael Kimmo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marcus Falaris.
I think Kimmo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
