Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dempsey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lecter tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dempsey is in Lecter's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dempsey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lecter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lecter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lecter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lecter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dempsey has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lecter is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dempsey looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lecter gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dempsey is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lecter lets go of the hold and Dempsey can pop his arm back in it's socket.
