Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ants Milnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Macino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Macino has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ants Milnes's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ants Milnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Macino!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macino throws a right and a left that Milnes avoids nicely.
Milnes ducks under a wild hook from Macino.
Milnes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Macino as he avoids it easily.
Milnes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Milnes is looking to clinch.
Milnes fails with a takedown attempt.
Macino lands a lovely overhand right.
Milnes on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A punch combination from Macino misses.
Macino stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Macino wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ants Milnes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice defenses there by Milnes.

Milnes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Milnes moves into the clinch successfully.
Macino blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Milnes unloads a knee to the mid-section. Macino lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Milnes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Macino.

Milnes jumps into guard, dragging Macino to the mat.
Macino tries to stand but Milnes is controlling from the bottom.
Milnes tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Macino got a little sloppy there for a moment and Milnes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Macino has managed to get both his arms back between Milnes's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Milnes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Milnes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Macino defends well.

Milnes has his foot on Macino's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Macino works his way back into a safe position though.
Macino wants to control from the top but Milnes keeps moving.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marcus Macino hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Milnes chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Milnes shoots in and drives through. Macino sprawls well.
Milnes shoots for a double leg takedown but Macino sprawls well. He's pushed Milnes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Macino throws a jab but it's blocked by Milnes.
Macino lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Milnes backs up against the cage.
Macino stuffs the takedown attempt from Milnes. Milnes gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ants Milnes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Macino looks to land a combination but Milnes avoids it well.
The fighters circling - Macino throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Macino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Milnes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Macino. That did some damage!
Macino is breathing heavily.
Milnes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Macino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Macino throws a hook but Milnes blocks it.
Macino fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Milnes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Macino swivels and escapes.
Macino misses with a few strikes there.
Macino lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Milnes jumps guard and drags Macino to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Macino is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Marcus Macino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Milnes closes the distance and clinches.

Milnes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Milnes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Milnes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Macino's guard.
Macino trying to keep a closed guard but Milnes is proving a slippery customer.
Milnes is working Macino over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Milnes wants to control from the top but Macino keeps moving.
Ants Milnes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Milnes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Macino is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Macino has escaped and now he's on top!

Macino is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Milnes is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Macino throws a series of strikes that have Milnes backpedaling.
Some wild striking there from Macino.
Macino shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Milnes eats them both and turns towards Macino to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ants Milnes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Milnes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Marcus Macino has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Macino keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

I would just about give that final round to Marcus Macino.
