Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Rurikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mills comes into the arena with LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rurikov's choice of entrance music: Eazy-E - Ruthless Villain. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pavel Rurikov!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rurikov shoots for a takedown but Mills saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mills scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Pavel Rurikov has been cut.
Rurikov fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Rurikov or perhaps it was just good defense by Mills which made him look bad.
Carl Mills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavel Rurikov.
Rurikov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mills doesn't manage to clinch there - Rurikov circles away.
Mills lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mills dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rurikov looks winded!
Rurikov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rurikov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mills uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rurikov.
Mills has taken the fight to the clinch.

A right handed body shot lands from Mills.
Rurikov fails to pull guard.
Mills lands a shoulder strike.
Rurikov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mills regains guard.
Mills manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mills is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Mills swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rurikov.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mills lands with a shot to the body.
Mills throws a leg kick but Rurikov moved away.
Mills throws a hook to the side of Rurikov's head but Rurikov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carl Mills seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mills throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rurikov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mills changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Carl Mills is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mills. Rurikov shrugs it off though.
Mills sends Rurikov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mills is motioning to the referee to let Rurikov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rurikov is rocked!
Mills looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Mills backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Rurikov's temple! It sends Rurikov violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Mills celebrates and the doctors try to help Rurikov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Carl Mills!
Carl Mills gave a mention to Prestige Nutrition (160!) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
