Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Jobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funk McTavish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funk McTavish will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Jobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Funk McTavish! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McTavish fails with the takedown and Jobs counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. McTavish utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McTavish working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jobs. Jobs advances position into side control! Jobs looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McTavish is avoiding damage well.
Jobs trying to control the position but McTavish is working away. Jobs scores with punches from side control. McTavish is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jobs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McTavish stops Jobs from passing to mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jobs just content to control the position.

Jobs creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McTavish sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jobs lands a nice forearm strike. Jobs trying to control the position but McTavish is working away. McTavish stops Jobs from passing to mount. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McTavish is trying to control Jobs's posture but Jobs avoids it. Jobs throwing strikes but McTavish manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! McTavish is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jobs has escaped the position, nice work there. McTavish tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. McTavish is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jobs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McTavish goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jobs rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McTavish's guard! Nice work there by Jobs! McTavish avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jobs controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jobs pushing down on McTavish's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. McTavish wants to get back to full guard. Jobs controlling the pace. Jobs thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jobs stalling. Jobs working over McTavish with some ground and pound. McTavish looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Nice strikes from Jobs there. Jobs keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. McTavish wants to control but Jobs is keeping busy and won't allow it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jobs sitting and controlling from the half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McTavish is refusing to be controlled, as Jobs sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McTavish closes the distance and clinches up with Jobs, looking for a takedown. McTavish pushes Jobs against the cage but Jobs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. McTavish misses with a wild body shot. Jobs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jobs trying to control but McTavish is working from the bottom. Jobs content to stall in guard here. Jobs trying to control the position from guard on top but McTavish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Steve Jobs. Jobs throws a looping overhand right but McTavish ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McTavish looks to land a body kick but Jobs moved away. Jobs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jobs lands in his opponent's guard. McTavish has his foot on Jobs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jobs works his way back into a safe position though. McTavish keeping full guard, as Jobs tries to pass. Jobs postures up.
McTavish wants to sweep but no luck. Jobs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jobs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McTavish is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jobs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jobs throwing strikes from guard but McTavish blocks nicely. McTavish keeping moving, preventing Jobs from controlling successfully. Jobs showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jobs throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McTavish was covering up waiting for the punch and Jobs finishes the takedown easily into guard. McTavish working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jobs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jobs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jobs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jobs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McTavish is keeping the position for now. McTavish looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jobs is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McTavish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jobs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jobs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jobs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jobs is working McTavish over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jobs is in close to McTavish's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jobs wants to control from the top but McTavish keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jobs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McTavish being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McTavish is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jobs throwing strikes but McTavish manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Jobs is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Jobs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jobs is looking to regain half guard here but McTavish keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jobs tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but McTavish presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Jobs is trying desperately to improve position. McTavish goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jobs is on top in guard.
Jobs throws an elbow that misses. McTavish uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jobs's guard. Nice move by McTavish!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McTavish postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jobs is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McTavish, into his guard. Jobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McTavish swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jobs wants to control from the top but McTavish keeps moving. Jobs slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Steve Jobs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jobs taking a breather here. McTavish is trying to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jobs staying calm. Funk McTavish has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Jobs showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jobs has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
