Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gin Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Meltzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gin Juice has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gin Juice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eli Meltzer! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juice misses with a takedown and Meltzer moves into the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Meltzer.
Juice is looking to break free of the clinch but Meltzer has double underhooks. Meltzer slowing the pace effectively. Meltzer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Juice gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Juice shoots and misses and Meltzer counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gin Juice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Juice with a poor takedown and Meltzer counters with a flying knee. Nice. Juice doesn't succeed with the takedown and Meltzer moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meltzer gets underhooks to prevent Juice's takedown attempt.
Juice can't break the clinch.
Juice takes a knee right on the jaw!

Meltzer breaks the clinch.
Juice ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Juice with a poor takedown and Meltzer counters with a solid body kick. Meltzer keeps the fight on the outside. Meltzer has closed the distance and engaged Juice in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meltzer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Meltzer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Juice blocks it with crossed arms. Meltzer is pushing Juice up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Meltzer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Meltzer moves in looking to clinch but Juice pushes him off. Meltzer misses the shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Juice fails with an attempt to clinch.
A shot to the liver by Meltzer. Beautiful body shot. Juice gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Meltzer counters with a flying knee. Nice. Gin Juice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meltzer moves into the clinch. Meltzer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Juice throws a body kick that misses and Meltzer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Juice really felt that one! Juice will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Meltzer tries to clinch up but Juice circles away and keeps his distance. Juice shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Juice fails with the takedown and Meltzer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Juice's guard. Juice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Meltzer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Meltzer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Juice is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Juice has escaped and now he's on top! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Meltzer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Meltzer clinches up against the cage. Juice is fighting off a takedown attempt but Meltzer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Juice to the mat. Juice regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Meltzer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juice swivels though and keeps the full guard. Juice is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Meltzer rolls with it to try and escape but Juice cranks on the arm and Meltzer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
