The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Carwin lands with a good body shot.
Michaels blocks a head kick by Carwin.
Carwin throws a hook to the side of Michaels's head but Michaels sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A chopping leg kick lands by Michaels.
Carwin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Michaels counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carwin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Michaels counters with a stiff right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carwin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Michaels misses the shot to the body.
Michaels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carwin throws out the jab.

Carwin misses with a hook. Michaels ducked under it nicely.
Michaels throws a right and a left that both miss.
Michaels walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Carwin tried to score with a low kick but Michaels checks it.

Carwin sends Michaels crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carwin is motioning to the referee to let Michaels up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Carwin knocks out Michaels with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Carwin before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Carwin picks up the big W with a huge KO!
