Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xuang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Shen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darius Shen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xuang Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darius Shen!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shen scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Shen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shen swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Shen tries to sprawl but Lee drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Shen wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lee stands up from half guard.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shen pinned against the cage. Shen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A shot to the liver by Shen. Beautiful body shot.
Shen lands an overhand right.
Shen tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee moves into the clinch.
Shen wants to get back to striking at distance but Lee won't allow it.
Shen breaks from the clinch.
Shen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shen lands with a straight right. Lee didn't see that one coming.
Shen throws a shot to the body.
Darius Shen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shen throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
Shen throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Shen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xuang Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shen scores with a sloppy right hand. Lee should have avoided that one.
Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Shen stalks Lee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lee's face. Lee staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee moves in looking to clinch but Shen pushes him off.
Shen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Darius Shen has been cut.
Shen throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Shen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lee doesn't seem bothered though.
Shen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Shen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shen pinned against the cage. Shen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shen is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Shen circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee dives in and grabs Shen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shen pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Lee takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nice takedown defense from Shen. No joy for Lee on that attempt.
Lee walks into a left hand.
Shen lands with a nice body punch.
A combination from Shen does no damage.

Sloppy strikes from Shen. Those never looked like landing.
Lee takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Shen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shen circles away quickly and effectively.
Shen throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it.
Shen missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee avoids the body shot from Shen.
Shen looks winded!
Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shen defends it nicely.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Shen is just out of range.
Shen throws a jab when Lee was well out of range.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Shen shows good takedown defense.
Shen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Shen lands a right hook to the body.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.
Shen lands a nice shot that snaps Lee's head back.
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lee.
Shen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shen lands a really nice looking cross but Lee seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
A nice combination there by Shen.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Shen slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shen tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darius Shen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Darius Shen's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shen at a distance.
Shen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Shen throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
Shen looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Some wild striking there from Shen.
Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shen keeps working.
Shen is trying to buck Lee off.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lee controls the position from side control.
Lee wants to control but Shen is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Shen can't do much from the bottom here.
Shen takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shen is looking to reverse the position.
Lee advances to mount.
Shen has left one of his arms exposed and Lee doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Shen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
