Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Nokia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papabol Pol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Bastian Nokia has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bastian Nokia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papabol Pol! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nokia fails with a takedown attempt. Pol looks to score with a jab to the body but Nokia is just out of range. Pol misses with a right hand and Nokia counters with a single leg into guard. Pol didn't expect that. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Nokia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pol is keeping the position for now. Pol can't keep his opponent in guard - Nokia advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pol trying to get back to full guard but Nokia takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pol can do anything to dispel that myth. Nokia manages to capitalize on a mistake by Pol to take his back! Pol is trying to break free.
Pol prevents Nokia from getting a body triangle. Pol trying to control the hands but Nokia won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pol can't escape the position.
Nokia will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pol holding on to Nokia's left wrist, preventing the choke. Pol trying to control the action but Nokia just sinks the hooks in.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Papabol Pol. Pol misses with a double jab
and Nokia counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pol's guard now. Pol looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nokia passes into half guard.
Nokia is thwarting Pol's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nokia perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pol tries to kick Nokia off in order to stand up. Nokia Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Pol looks to move to half guard but instead Nokia has passed into mount! Damn! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bastian Nokia dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pol scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nokia manages to mount him!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Nokia is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Pol looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pol looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Nokia slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nokia keeps control of the position as Pol tries to break free.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nokia avoids the head kick by Pol.
Pol throws a combination that misses so Nokia counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Nokia stops Pol from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pol is looking for a triangle here but Nokia uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Pol is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bastian Nokia dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Some bone on bone action there as Nokia checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Nokia checks a low kick from Pol. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pol misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nokia trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pol wants to escape the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Nokia's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Bastian Nokia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pol trying to control the action but Nokia just sinks the hooks in.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Papabol Pol hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nokia shoots in but Pol avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pol throws a lazy uppercut
and Nokia decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pol's guard. Pol wants to stand but Nokia is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bastian Nokia showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nokia, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
