Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ross Massey!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Steel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Steel throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel.
Massey shoots in for a takedown but Steel shows good takedown defense.
Massey shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Massey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Massey is defended easily by Steel.

That's time! Steel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Massey shoots in and drives through. Steel sprawls well.
Massey closes the distance and clinches up with Steel, looking for a takedown. Massey pushes Steel against the cage but Steel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Massey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steel avoids it really well and circles away.
Steel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by Massey or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel which made him look bad.
Steel seems to have got his legs back now.

Steel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Steel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Massey sneaks out the side door and pushes Steel away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Steel is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Massey jumps into side control!

A big strike lands for Massey! That's really hurt Steel and he's turned his back - Massey keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Massey jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ross Massey spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
