Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tyrone Steel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyrone Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ross Massey! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Steel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Steel throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel. Massey shoots in for a takedown but Steel shows good takedown defense. Massey shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Massey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Massey is defended easily by Steel. Tyrone Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Massey. Massey gets a double leg takedown into Steel's guard. Massey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Massey lands a couple of digs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Massey tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard. Massey lands a couple of elbows. Massey working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Massey stays in close to Steel's body and controls the position. Massey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Massey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Massey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Massey scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Massey landing some decent shots from guard. Massey prevents Steel from getting back to his feet. Massey stays in close to Steel's body and controls the position. Massey wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel wants to stand and escape but Massey is having none of it. Massey connects with a couple of short punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Massey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Massey scoring with some ground and pound. Steel wants to get back to his feet but Massey is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Steel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Massey working some strikes from top position. Massey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Steel's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Massey connects with a couple of short punches. Massey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Steel is rocked! Massey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Massey slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Massey lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Steel down.
Massey tries to advance to mount but Steel denies him. Steel taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Massey landing strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Massey scores with punches from side control. Oh Steel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Massey lands a few punches from side control. Massey working the head and body with strikes. Steel is looking for a sweep. Massey is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steel has escaped the position, nice work there. Massey lands some shots froms side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Massey scoring with punches from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ross Massey dominated that round. That's time! Steel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Steel as Massey shoots in. Massey shoots in and drives through. Steel sprawls well. Massey closes the distance and clinches up with Steel, looking for a takedown. Massey pushes Steel against the cage but Steel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tyrone Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Massey. Massey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steel avoids it really well and circles away. Steel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Horrible takedown by Massey or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel which made him look bad. Steel seems to have got his legs back now. Steel throws a head kick but Massey moves out of range.
Steel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Steel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Massey sneaks out the side door and pushes Steel away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Massey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ground and pound from Massey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Massey jumps into side control! Massey trying to control the action but Steel is working from the bottom. Massey in side control lands a decent elbow. Massey working the ground and pound. Steel is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Massey asserts his dominance and retains side control. Steel is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Massey looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Steel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Massey landing strikes. Massey has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Steel taking punishment in the form of punches.
Massey in side control lands a decent elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Massey working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Massey cracks Steel with a big right hand but Steel just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel can't do much from the bottom here. Massey lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Steel down.

Steel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Massey looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big strike lands for Massey! That's really hurt Steel and he's turned his back - Massey keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Massey jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Massey! Ross Massey spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
