Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beyond Chopped (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roderick Lagoc Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beyond Chopped!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roderick Lagoc Ii!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopped stuffs the takedown.

Lagoc Ii takes the fight into the clinch.

Chopped looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Chopped misses with a shot to the kidneys.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lagoc Ii tries to free his leg and advance position but Chopped is retaining full guard.

Chopped wants to stand and escape but Lagoc Ii is having none of it.
Lagoc Ii postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Lagoc Ii is working Chopped over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Chopped keeping moving, preventing Lagoc Ii from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chopped bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lagoc Ii's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chopped makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lagoc Ii can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chopped is fighting to break Lagoc Ii's control of his arms but Lagoc Ii is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Chopped throwing strikes from guard but Lagoc Ii blocks nicely.
Chopped throws a strike but Lagoc Ii rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Chopped keeping moving, preventing Lagoc Ii from controlling successfully.
Lagoc Ii stands up over Chopped, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Chopped is trying to control the position but Lagoc Ii postures up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lagoc Ii working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chopped's head.
Lagoc Ii wants to pass the guard but Chopped is keeping the position.
Chopped lands a decent punch to the body there.
Lagoc Ii postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Chopped is striking but Lagoc Ii is not phased and passes to half guard.
Chopped preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Lagoc Ii prevents Chopped from improving his position.
Lagoc Ii is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roderick Lagoc Ii has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lagoc Ii breaks from Chopped's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chopped throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Chopped is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Chopped is working to get back to half guard.
Lagoc Ii breaks from Chopped's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Chopped is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chopped tries to lock up and control but Lagoc Ii gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lagoc Ii connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

A big strike lands for Lagoc Ii! That's really hurt Chopped and he's turned his back - Lagoc Ii keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lagoc Ii jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roderick Lagoc Ii!
