Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Righthere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiro Sata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sata shoots in but no luck this time.
Righthere throws a big shot that misses.

Sata throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Righthere was covering up waiting for the punch and Sata finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sata slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Righthere tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Righthere will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Righthere is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sata defends well.
Sata is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Sata slips nicely into half guard.
Sata not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Righthere moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Righthere tries to sprawl but Sata drives through with a takedown into half guard.

It looks like Sata might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Akiro Sata hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Righthere looks to land a right hand but Sata moved out of range.
Righthere throws a lazy right hand but Sata sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sata scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sata is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Righthere's shoulder. That is not cool.
Righthere tries to bench press Sata off him but Sata keeps the position.
Sata moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sata wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Righthere, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sata wants to lay and pray for a moment but Righthere keeps working.
Righthere is looking for a sweep.
Sata moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Righthere tries to improve position but can't.

Sata is looking to take a break and control but Righthere is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Righthere is looking to reverse the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sata in particular looking to stall.

Sata's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Righthere jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Righthere misses its intended target.
Righthere stuffs the takedown attempt from Sata. Sata gets slowly back to his feet.
Sata bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sata defending well as Righthere loads up on a big left hand.
Sata uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Righthere.
Sata shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed right hand from Righthere misses the target.
Guy Righthere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Righthere misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sata ducks under a wild hook from Righthere.

so Sata counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sata not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sata works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Akiro Sata has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sata prevents Righthere from improving his position.

Still in half guard, Sata seems content to control.
Righthere tries to roll over but Sata keeps him under control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sata stands up from half guard.
Righthere throws an overhand right that lands on Sata's shoulder, as Sata tries to avoid the shot.
Righthere is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sata.

Sata closes the distance and clinches.
Righthere is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Sata has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Righthere should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sata has tightened it up now! Righthere should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
