Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dorian Gay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Chowmein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chowmein is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Fight Song. Dorian Gay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stan Chowmein's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dorian Gay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Chowmein!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chowmein fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gay swings for the body but Chowmein moves out of range.
Chowmein tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice uppercut lands for Gay. That snapped Chowmein's head back.
Chowmein with a lazy takedown attempt

and Gay counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Gay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gay passes into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gay seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Gay is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Chowmein is trying to maintain the position but Gay is very close to passing his half guard.
Gay sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chowmein defending well though.
Chowmein blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gay.
Gay content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Gay thows a huge punch but Chowmein dodges it nicely.
Gay thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Gay scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Still in half guard, Gay seems content to control.
Chowmein tries to roll over but Gay keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gay throwing shots but Chowmein is blocking nicely.
Gay is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Gay drops an elbow to the side of Chowmein's head.
Gay slows the pace down in half guard.
Gay seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chowmein for as long as he can get away with.

Chowmein is trying to control but Gay passes into side control!

Gay content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Gay in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Gay taking a breather here.
Chowmein tries to buck Gay off but Gay is having none of it.
The referee asks Gay politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gay prefers to stall for the moment though.
Gay has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gay lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gay scores with a body shot.
Chowmein avoids the body shot from Gay.
Chowmein jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gay lands a jab to Chowmein's midsection.
Good exchange - Gay coming out on top.
Gay pounces like a tiger and cracks Chowmein with a vicious hook! Chowmein is down but not out! Gay follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Dorian Gay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
