Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mibu Kyoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russ Rutger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyoshiro comes to the cage accompanied by Lord Vicar - Sign of Osiris Risen . The crowd seem to be enjoying Rutger's choice of entrance music: Prince Ital Joe feat. Marky Mark - United. Mibu Kyoshiro had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rutger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Rutger throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rutger has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kyoshiro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rutger.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kyoshiro connects with a nice short shot to Rutger's temple.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kyoshiro in particular looking to stall.

Rutger is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kyoshiro pulls his head out easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kyoshiro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rutger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
