The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herald slips a straight right by Ferzeta.
Herald lands a two punch combo.
Ferzeta shoots in but no luck this time.
Ferzeta connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Herald momentarily.
Ferzeta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Herald lands with a hook. Ferzeta tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ferzeta walks into a stiff left hand from Herald.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferzeta takes a jab right on the kisser.
Herald takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Herald.
Herald connects with a single shot there.
Ferzeta misses with a lunging right hand
letting Herald counter with a right hand.

Herald is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Ferzeta tries to move into range but Herald moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ferzeta is rocked!
Herald uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ferzeta has time to react.
Ferzeta is still on wobbly legs! Can Herald finish him?
Ferzeta fails with a takedown attempt.
Ferzeta seems to have recovered his senses.
Ferzeta misses with a wild combination.
Ferzeta looks winded!

and Herald counters with a nice uppercut.
Ferzeta bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Herald's head.
Ferzeta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Herald sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Travis Herald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Ferzeta.

Herald cracks Ferzeta with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ferzeta looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Herald finish him?

Herald throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ferzeta stumbling backwards into the cage! Ferzeta bounces back off the cage towards Herald, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Herald lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Herald celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
