Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett comes to the cage accompanied by Shipping Up to Boston. Storm is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ThunderStruck. Brad Bennett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jim Storm's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brad Bennett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Storm. Bennett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Storm dives in and grabs Bennett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bennett pushes down on Storm's head and hops out. Storm has his takedown stuffed and Bennett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brad Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Storm. Bennett misses with a wild body shot. Bennett lands a nice hook to Storm's body. Storm takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bennett throws a lazy uppercut
and Storm counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bennett's guard now. Storm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bennett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Storm, into his guard. Storm is looking for a triangle but Bennett pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storm looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Storm had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bennett defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bennett cracks Storm with a solid left hand. Bennett trying to control but Storm is working from the bottom. Bennett with a nice head shot there. Bennett wants to control from the top but Storm keeps moving. Bennett is pushing down on Storm's leg trying to pass to half guard. Storm is fighting to maintain full guard but Bennett has managed to sneak the leg through. Storm taking some punishment here, with Bennett in his half guard. Bennett tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Storm. Storm is in trouble now - Bennett has advanced to mount! Storm working to try and regain half guard.
Bennett wants to control the pace but Storm is squirming around nicely. Storm is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bennett landing shots from mount. Bennett putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! BOOM! Bennett connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bennett lands a nice shot to the head. Storm taking shots to the head. Storm bucks Bennett off and manages to get back to his feet! Bennett throws a hook but Storm avoids it easily. Jab by Bennett. Bennett misses with a straight left. Bennett takes a swing at Storm's ribcage but misses. Bennett defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Storm. Storm doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bennett counters with a nice uppercut. Bennett lands a nice looking body shot.
Bennett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Storm on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bennett smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Bennett. Storm does a little dance to reset his feet. Brad Bennett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Storm moves away from the strike by Bennett. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Storm with a lazy takedown attempt and Bennett cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bennett misses with a hook. Bennett stuns Storm with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Storm takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bennett misses with a straight right. Bennett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Storm manages to avoid it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bennett misses with a body shot.
Storm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bennett waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Storm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm throws a left and a right that both miss
and Storm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Storm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bennett swivels and escapes. Bennett just misses with a punch to the body.
Storm shoots in but no luck this time. Storm misses with a takedown attempt - Bennett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brad Bennett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Storm. Bennett thows a body shot but no joy. Bennett connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Storm with a lazy takedown attempt and Bennett cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bennett moves into range and connects with a jab. Brad Bennett is winning the standup battle so far. Storm keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bennett. Bennett misses with a looping left. A jab from Bennett misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bennett cracks a nice hook into Storm's ribs. Storm takes a shot right to the bread basket. Bennett lands with an uppercut that bounces Storm off the cage and back into range. Storm closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bennett circles away. Bennett ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Storm doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Storm takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bennett's jab looks to have found its range, popping Storm under the eye. Bennett stuffs the takedown attempt from Storm. Storm gets slowly back to his feet. Bennett swings for the body but Storm moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm misses with a takedown attempt and Bennett counters with a nice uppercut. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Storm is defended easily by Bennett. Bennett connects with a body shot that sends Storm's belly button to the back. Jab from Bennett. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Storm doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bennett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Storm fails with a takedown attempt. Bennett fails to land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bennett to score with a decent uppercut. Storm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bennett defends it nicely. Bennett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away. Bennett misses with a wild body shot. Brad Bennett overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storm throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bennett escapes and throws Storm's legs to the side, diving into side control! Storm sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bennett drops an elbow to the side of Storm's head. Bennett landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Storm actively working from the bottom here. Storm is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bennett scores with a couple of nice shots. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bennett seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Storm looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bennett scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bennett scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bennett lands a glancing blow to the side of Storm's head.
Storm is rocked! BOOM! Bennett lands a beautiful left hook that drops Storm. Storm tries to recover but Bennett is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Storm lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brad Bennett! Brad Bennett decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
