Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khgerty Godo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Massive Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Massive Destruction!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destruction slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Destruction looks to land a combination but Godo avoids it well.
Godo connects with a right hand. Destruction shakes it off.
Godo throws a nice looking combination but Destruction bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Godo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Godo thuds his right hand into Destruction's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Destruction decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Godo's guard.

Destruction working for a triangle but Godo defends it easily.
Destruction has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Godo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Destruction has tightened it up now! Godo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Massive Destruction!
