Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Numa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Numa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ladies and Gentlemen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Sparks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiji Numa! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Numa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Danga de danga de dang - Sparks scores with a four punch combination! No joy there for Numa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Numa throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sparks's head. Numa lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sparks takes a step back to recover. Numa lands a head kick!
Numa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sparks defends it nicely. Numa wants to land a leg kick but Sparks is out of range. Sparks looks to score with a jab to the body but Numa is just out of range. Numa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sparks misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparks misses with a body shot.
A bone on bone clash there as Sparks blocks the leg kick.
Numa throws a nice outside leg kick. Numa throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Sparks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Sparks throws the kick towards the body but Numa avoids it. Numa throws a leg kick that misses. Sparks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sparks takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Numa connects with a leg kick. Sparks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Numa avoids the head kick by Sparks.
A solid leg kick lands there for Numa.
Numa motions for Sparks to come forward. Numa throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Numa scores with a leg kick.
Sparks checks the leg kick nicely there.
No joy there for Sparks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Numa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sparks slips a straight right by Numa. Sparks misses with an uppercut. Sparks throws a sloppy head kick and Numa moves out of range easily. Numa tries to work over Sparks's front leg with a kick but Sparks checks it. Keiji Numa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Numa throws a chopping leg kick but Sparks manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Sparks feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Numa sprawling to the canvas! Numa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sparks finish him?!
Numa is rocked!
It looks like Keiji Numa has been cut. Numa dodges the punch combination from Sparks.
Numa is still on wobbly legs! Can Sparks finish him? Sparks slaps away a takedown attempt from Numa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sparks tries a head kick but it misses.
Numa seems to have recovered his senses. Numa tries to work over Sparks's front leg with a kick but Sparks checks it. Numa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sparks.
Numa misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Numa walks straight into a right hand from Sparks - that's dropped him! Sparks jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Numa from any more punishment! Numa complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Darren Sparks! Jumping up and down and very excited, Darren Sparks waved his t-shirt featuring CEC Nutrition Q160 & Loans's logo in front of the cameras.
