Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Cadge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McCallum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadge comes to the cage accompanied by Jaws of Life. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathan Cadge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike McCallum! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCallum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. McCallum shoots for a takedown but Cadge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cadge throws a big shot that misses. McCallum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cadge tries to avoid it but McCallum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cadge to the ground. Cadge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nathan Cadge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike McCallum. McCallum scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. McCallum working the ground and pound but Cadge is defending the strikes. McCallum tries to advance to mount but Cadge denies him. Cadge is trying to control McCallum's posture but McCallum avoids it. McCallum misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Cadge is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McCallum's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. McCallum thows a huge punch but Cadge dodges it nicely.
Cadge is controlling McCallum's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cadge has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McCallum is working away from the top position though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cadge tries to roll over but McCallum keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCallum trying to control the action but Cadge is working from the bottom. McCallum is thwarting Cadge's attempts to control the position. Cadge is looking to improve his position.

We're going to have a standup here because Nathan Cadge wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. No luck with that takedown attempt from McCallum. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McCallum. McCallum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cadge defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cadge's jab looks to have found its range, popping McCallum under the eye.
It looks like Mike McCallum has been cut. Nathan Cadge is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McCallum has his takedown stuffed and Cadge counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCallum avoids the body shot from Cadge.
Cadge throws a right and a left that McCallum avoids nicely. Cadge feints and then cracks McCallum's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McCallum down. McCallum gets the takedown into side control. McCallum postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cadge is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McCallum's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Cadge holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. McCallum wants to pass to mount but Cadge is defending the position. Cadge trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cadge is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCallum's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCallum's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cadge is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften McCallum up.
Cadge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McCallum rolls, trying to escape but Cadge keeps control of the position.
Cadge really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for McCallum. Cadge keeps control of the position as McCallum tries to break free.
McCallum manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cadge's guard. Nice work there by McCallum.

Cadge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McCallum manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cadge works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cadge wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCallum keeps working. McCallum is looking for a sweep. Cadge is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cadge is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McCallum! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McCallum can do anything to dispel that myth. Cadge jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McCallum manages to avoid the submission attempt. Cadge is looking to take a break and control but McCallum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cadge throwing strikes but missing, from side control. McCallum is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McCallum regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Cadge dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike McCallum's cut. That's time! Cadge's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McCallum ducks under a wild hook from Cadge. McCallum fails to land the takedown. Mike McCallum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cadge moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Cadge misses the jab. Cadge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McCallum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cadge sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McCallum somewhat. Cadge moves in close and cracks McCallum with a massive right hand! McCallum, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Cadge!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Cadge! In his post fight interview, Nathan Cadge gave a big smile as he said 'RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!'.
