Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Campbell McCaffrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light comes to the cage accompanied by Ride for This-Fabolous. McCaffrey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fight Like Apes - Something Global kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bobby Light has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaffrey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Light was well out of range. Poor timing from McCaffrey.
Light throws a push kick but McCaffrey slaps the foot to one side.

Light manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McCaffrey on his heels. He'll look to pass McCaffrey's guard now, I'm sure.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Light accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McCaffrey controlling Light's posture.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Light's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
McCaffrey is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Light dives into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Light in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

McCaffrey dodges the ground and pound from Light.
Light in side control, throwing shots but McCaffrey defends.
Light throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Light trying to control the position but McCaffrey is working away.
McCaffrey wants to control but Light postures up.
Light wants to control but McCaffrey is keeping him busy.
Light has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McCaffrey struggling a bit here.
McCaffrey tries to bench press Light off him but Light keeps the position.

McCaffrey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Light wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Light working the ground and pound but McCaffrey is defending the strikes.
Light lands a few punches from side control.

Light tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Light has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McCaffrey tries to buck Light off but Light is having none of it.
Light is looking to take a break and control but McCaffrey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Light is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McCaffrey has escaped the position, nice work there.

Light throws a strike aimed at the side of McCaffrey's head but McCaffrey avoids it well.
McCaffrey is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Light off and has taken his back!
McCaffrey scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Light is looking for a way out.

Light defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of McCaffrey's arms.
McCaffrey has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Light.
Light is in bad spot here.
McCaffrey connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Light to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Light tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
McCaffrey controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Light tries to reverse the position but McCaffrey maintains control.
McCaffrey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
McCaffrey lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Light hang on?
Light is working to get back to half guard.
McCaffrey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Light taking shots to the head.
McCaffrey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McCaffrey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Light's face.

Light is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McCaffrey loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Light scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from McCaffrey land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. McCaffrey stands and salutes the crowd.

After the fight, Campbell McCaffrey was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
