Bitag fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Bitag has him pressed against the cage.

Bitag has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bitag is looking to sweep but instead, Jones has passed into half guard.
Bitag is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jones wants to control from the top but Bitag keeps moving.

Jones stands and steps away. Bitag gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

After the fight, Ben Bitag was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
