Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, In Face! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane Chojacki! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Chojacki. Those never looked like landing. Chojacki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Face tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chojacki is in Face's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Chojacki stays in close to Face's body and controls the position. Face is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chojacki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chojacki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Face might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Face controls Chojacki momentarily but Chojacki frees himself.
In Face has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Face darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Shane Chojacki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Face connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Face lands a nice shot to the body.
Face lands a really nice looking cross but Chojacki seems unphased.
Chojacki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Face. Chojacki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Face throws a big shot that misses. Chojacki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Face manages to avoid it. Chojacki avoids the body shot from Face.
Face ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Chojacki misses with a takedown attempt - Face sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chojacki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Face on his heels. He'll look to pass Face's guard now, I'm sure. Face tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chojacki throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chojacki with a flurry of punches that miss. Face trying to control the position.
Chojacki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Face wants to sweep but no luck. Chojacki wants to control from the top but Face keeps moving. Chojacki throws a big elbow that misses. Chojacki slips nicely into half guard. Chojacki trying to control the action but Face is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chojacki stalling. The fighters are battling for position here. Face manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Chojacki tries to free his leg and advance position but Face is retaining full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chojacki's corner. There ya go! There ya go! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Face is on top in guard.
Chojacki pulls Face in close to his closed guard and prevents Face from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Face tries to free his leg and advance position but Chojacki is retaining full guard. Chojacki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Face! Face is squirming around, avoiding Chojacki's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shane Chojacki will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Face misses with a looping left. Good exchange - Face coming out on top. Face connects with a solid leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Face. Face misses with a looping right. Face fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chojacki manages to avoid it. Chojacki shoots in looking for a takedown. Face tries to sprawl out of it but Chojacki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Face manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chojacki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Face, pushing him back against the cage. Face is defending well against a takedown attempt. Face has a couple of punches blocked by Chojacki.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Face manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Face seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chojacki takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chojacki tries to score a body lock takedown but Face shows good agility there to stay on his feet. In Face has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Chojacki. Chojacki gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Face regains guard.
Chojacki is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Face looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chojacki connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face is trying to control the position but Chojacki postures up. Chojacki loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Face keeping full guard, as Chojacki tries to pass. Face is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chojacki postures up and lands a big shot to Face's brow. Shane Chojacki has got the better of the ground game so far. Chojacki tries to free his leg and advance position but Face is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chojacki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chojacki postures up.

Chojacki wants to control from the top but Face keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Shane Chojacki. Chojacki fails with a takedown attempt. Nice uppercut there from Face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shane Chojacki will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Chojacki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chojacki takes a swing at Face's ribcage but misses. Chojacki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Face sprawls well. Face wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chojacki gets slowly back to his feet. Chojacki shoots in looking for a takedown but Face manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chojacki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. In Face has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Chojacki. Face keeps the fight on the outside. Face moves into range and connects with a jab. Face stuffs the takedown. Chojacki fails with the takedown. A cross from Face lands. Shane Chojacki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Chojacki misses with a wild body shot.

Chojacki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chojacki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chojacki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chojacki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Face as he jumps to the side. Face's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chojacki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Face scrambles back to his feet. A good leg kick by Face. Face misses with a shot to the body and Chojacki counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chojacki. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Chojacki keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Face's efforts to push away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chojacki goes for a takedown in the clinch but Face prevents it.
Chojacki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chojacki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Chojacki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Face pinned against the cage. Face gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chojacki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Face's guard. In Face has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chojacki looking to pass the guard. Face keeping moving, preventing Chojacki from controlling successfully. Face not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chojacki trying to control the position from guard on top but Face is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Shane Chojacki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Face's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Face duly obliges.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Face throws a jab but it's blocked by Chojacki. Chojacki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Face but Face pushes him off and we're back to square one. In Face is winning the standup battle so far. Chojacki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Face misses with a straight left. Face throws an off balance right hand
enabling Chojacki to counter with a crisp jab. Chojacki takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Chojacki fails to land the takedown. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Face pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chojacki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Face pinned against the cage. Face gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Face fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! In Face showed his dominance in that final round. I think Chojacki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
