Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waine Bitterhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kien Ngo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kien Ngo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Waine Bitterhall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kien Ngo! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ngo throws a head kick that misses. A nice combination there by Ngo.
Ngo misses with a takedown attempt - Bitterhall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bitterhall tries to score with a low kick but Ngo moves his leg out of the way. Ngo shoots and misses and Bitterhall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bitterhall is taking a breather. Ngo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bitterhall could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ngo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bitterhall is working away from the top position though. Ngo is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitterhall decides to stand up. Ngo tries to clinch but Bitterhall moves out of range. Bitterhall throws a body punch but Ngo moves out of range. Ngo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ngo. Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown. Bitterhall tries to sprawl out of it but Ngo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bitterhall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Waine Bitterhall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kien Ngo. Bitterhall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ngo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bitterhall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ngo somewhat. Ngo gets caught napping as Bitterhall dives in and scores a takedown. Ngo manages to retain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bitterhall is looking to work some ground and pound but Ngo has wrist control. Ngo looking to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ngo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bitterhall is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ngo trying to control the position.
Ngo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ngo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ngo closes the distance and clinches up with Bitterhall, looking for a takedown. Ngo pushes Bitterhall against the cage but Bitterhall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bitterhall crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ngo - the referee stops the clock and Bitterhall gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ngo. Bitterhall manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ngo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bitterhall as he jumps to the side. Ngo moves into the clinch. Ngo prevents the takedown attempt.
Bitterhall is trying to pull guard but Ngo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bitterhall is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ngo is defending well. Bitterhall blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ngo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bitterhall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ngo closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ngo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bitterhall can't fight it off and eventually Ngo manages to take the fight to the floor. Bitterhall looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Bitterhall looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ngo is defending well. Bitterhall quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ngo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bitterhall celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
