Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Wes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Sonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonny jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sonny is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sonny tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wes smiles and moves away.
Sonny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sonny tries to buck Wes off but Wes is having none of it.
Wes landing strikes.
Wes stands up and beckons Sonny to his feet.
Wes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Wes is trying to control the action in half guard but Sonny is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Sonny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jaime Sonny has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Wes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wes stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sonny closes the distance and clinches up with Wes, looking for a takedown. Sonny pushes Wes against the cage but Wes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sean Wes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaime Sonny.
Sonny walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wes shoots in for a takedown but Sonny shows good takedown defense.
Sonny fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sonny napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sonny on the ground.

Sonny is looking for a sweep. Wes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sonny wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Sonny wants to get back to his feet but Wes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sean Wes.

and Wes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Wes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sonny on his heels. He'll look to pass Sonny's guard now, I'm sure.
Wes stops Sonny from standing up.
Sonny is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Wes dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wes throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sonny.
Sonny misses with a body shot.
Sonny shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wes pinned against the cage. Wes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sean Wes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaime Sonny.
Wes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Wes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sonny!

Sonny is looking to improve his position but Wes isn't that keen on the idea.
Sonny tries to lock up and control but Wes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Sonny sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Wes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sonny makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sonny.

Wes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sonny sprawls well initially but Wes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sonny manages to get to full guard.

Sonny is looking to control Wes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sonny avoid being mounted?

Wes wants to control from the top but Sonny keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sonny is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wes wants to stand but Sonny is controlling the position.
Sonny throws an elbow that misses. Wes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sonny's guard. Nice move by Wes!

Sean Wes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Sonny decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wes to his feet.
Wes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sonny to the mat! Sonny manages to get full guard.
Sonny controls Wes momentarily but Wes frees himself.
Sonny manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wes is looking to improve his position but Sonny isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sonny can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wes is looking to escape.
Sonny content just to control the position here.
Wes reaches up to try and control the position but Sonny seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Wes rolls and tries to escape and now Sonny has his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sonny has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Wes is in real trouble here. Sonny gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Wes is tapping out! Sonny wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jaime Sonny!
