Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Sakay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buakaw Pramuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Romeo Sakay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Buakaw Pramuk! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pramuk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sakay defends it nicely. Pramuk fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pramuk scores with the left hand. Sakay knows he should have avoided that one. Sakay swats away the attempt to clinch by Pramuk. Pramuk walks into a left hand. Pramuk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Romeo Sakay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buakaw Pramuk. Pramuk shoots in for a takedown but Sakay shows good takedown defense. Pramuk darts in trying to clinch and Sakay counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sakay drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sakay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Sakay wants to sweep here but Pramuk controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pramuk trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sakay's guard. Sakay doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Pramuk seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pramuk trying to control the position from guard on top but Sakay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sakay trying to control the position.

and Pramuk counters with a three punch combo that has Sakay backing up. Sakay nods at Pramuk to acknowledge the strikes. Sakay gets a clinch. Pramuk tries to score a body lock takedown but Sakay shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pramuk drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sakay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A slapping leg kick lands for Sakay.
Pramuk stuffs the takedown attempt from Sakay. Sakay gets slowly back to his feet. Sakay tries for a takedown but Pramuk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakay leaves Pramuk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pramuk looks winded! Pramuk fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pramuk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sakay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sakay pushes Pramuk up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pramuk makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Sakay fails to pull guard.
Pramuk's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Romeo Sakay will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Romeo Sakay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pramuk takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Sakay closes the distance looking to clinch and Pramuk counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pramuk. Sakay is trying to pull guard but Pramuk turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Pramuk is trying to break the clinch but Sakay is controlling him. Sakay takes a shot to the head. Pramuk prevents the takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sakay is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pramuk gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sakay tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sakay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sakay wants it to stay on the feet. Sakay thows a body shot but no joy. Sakay shoots in for a takedown but Pramuk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pramuk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sakay avoids it really well and circles away. Sakay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sakay gets slowly back to his feet. Sakay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pramuk's waist but Pramuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sakay off to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pramuk. Pramuk shoots for a takedown but Sakay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sakay throws the kick towards the body but Pramuk avoids it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pramuk shoots in looking for a takedown. Sakay tries to sprawl out of it but Pramuk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sakay manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pramuk misses with a straight left.

Pramuk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sakay just stands there and leans against the cage. Sakay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pramuk pulls him back up using the underhooks. Pramuk stalling the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pramuk breaks from the clinch.

"I don't think so" says Pramuk as he avoids it easily. Sakay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pramuk is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Pramuk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
And that's the end of the fight! Buakaw Pramuk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pramuk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
