The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kesedzija looks for a takedown but Bonturua sprawls well.

Bonturua cracks Kesedzija with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kesedzija looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bonturua finish him?

It looks like Musa Kesedzija has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kesedzija fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonturua.
Bonturua defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kesedzija.
Bonturua throws a lazy uppercut

and Kesedzija counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Kesedzija pulls Bonturua into guard.
Bonturua wants to stand but Kesedzija has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bonturua wanted to stand there but Kesedzija had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kesedzija closes the distance and clinches up with Bonturua, looking for a takedown. Kesedzija pushes Bonturua against the cage but Bonturua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Misuaksual Bonturua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Musa Kesedzija.

Kesedzija forces Bonturua back against the cage and clinches.
Kesedzija is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bonturua can't find room to land a body shot as Kesedzija controls the action.

Kesedzija breaks from the clinch.
Bonturua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonturua wants it to stay on the feet.
Bonturua chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kesedzija can pounce on him.
A swing and a miss from Bonturua.

Bonturua lands a big right hand that sends Kesedzija crashing to the mat! Bonturua stays standing though and waves Kesedzija back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bonturua drops Kesedzija with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kesedzija looks back up at him and smiles so Bonturua waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kesedzija is still on wobbly legs! Can Bonturua finish him?

Bonturua misses with a looping right.
Misuaksual Bonturua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kesedzija walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kesedzija limp body while Bonturua jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Misuaksual Bonturua!
After winning the bout, Misuaksual Bonturua thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
