Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Natel Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Natel Lawson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Natel Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lawson sprawls well initially but Doe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lawson gets back to full guard.

Doe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Doe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Doe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lawson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Doe throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lawson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Doe is in Lawson's guard.
