Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Lennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akekae Pokaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokaku pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pokaku misses with a kick to the body
and Lennon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pokaku takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lennon tries a head kick but it misses.
Pokaku throws a big shot that misses.

Lennon has managed to clinch.
Pokaku misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pokaku tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pokaku.
Lennon takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice body punch from Pokaku - that landed with a thud.
A frustrated look appears on Pokaku's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pokaku digs a right hand underneath Lennon's ribcage. Lennon let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Pokaku tries to score a body lock takedown but Lennon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pokaku has had enough of the clinch but Lennon keeps him there for the moment.
Pokaku tries to work over Lennon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lennon prevents a body shot from Pokaku.

Lennon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lennon throws a head kick but Pokaku moves out of range.

Pokaku lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lennon circles away quickly and effectively.
Pokaku misses with a hook.
Pokaku tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pokaku missing with a left hand there. Lennon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A clash of legs there as Pokaku blocks the low kick.
Pokaku lands a really nice looking cross but Lennon seems unphased.
Pokaku cracks Lennon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pokaku wants to clinch up but Lennon keeps it at a distance.
Pokaku tries to bum rush Lennon with a series of wild strikes but Lennon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lennon misses with a body shot.
Pokaku throws a sloppy head kick and Lennon moves out of range easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Pokaku 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Pokaku cracks Lennon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lennon lands with a nice body punch.
Pokaku looks winded!

Lennon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lennon throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pokaku tumbling to the canvas!

Pokaku is rocked!
Lennon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Pokaku is still in real trouble! Can Lennon finish him?

Lennon lands a big elbow - Pokaku is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lennon!
