Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Kendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Model (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Kendricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krzysztof Model!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendricks instigates a clinch.
Model changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kendricks fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kendricks rushes Model and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kendricks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Model is trying to pull guard but Kendricks has him pressed against the cage.
Kendricks gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Well, if Kendricks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kendricks thows a huge punch but Model dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kendricks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Kendricks slips a nice elbow through Model's hands, connecting with Model's forehead.
Kendricks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kendricks wants to take a breather but Model is having none of it.
Kendricks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kendricks working over Model with some ground and pound. Model looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Kendricks is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Kendricks trying to control from half guard but Model is working away.
Kendricks works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kendricks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kendricks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kendricks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kendricks working for a guillotine from mount but Model is in no mood to give up.
Kendricks loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Model scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kendricks land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kendricks stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Kendricks!
